Walt’s latest book is a memoir of sorts, If You Weren’t Here This Would Not Be Happening: plogs from my life. Written during the COVID-19 shutdown, the book features dozens of humorous, tragic, and touching anecdotes from his self-described weird life, the book emerged from Meyer’s attempts to distract himself from a crazy world. As it so happens, life is stranger than fiction.
Walt is also the author of the Amazon-bestselling and award-winning novel Rounding Third.
Mr. Meyer has given presentations about his books and ending bullying at schools, corporations, libraries, and community centers across the country (see a partial list). Walt has been a guest on numerous television and radio shows including NPR.
The Respectful Leader, published by John Wiley & Sons, hews to the principles of respect that should operate in the workplace as well as school. Walt worked with executive coach Gregg Ward to create a book that was named an Amazon editors’ business book of the month and would go on to win an Axiom Book Award.
Along with business consultant and executive coach Jordan Goldrich. Walt wrote Workplace Warrior, a book with tips to help leaders who have been labeled too abrasive.
Walt is also the co-writer of GAM3RS, The Play. A hilarious one-person show that has been performed over 300 times all over the US including theatrical runs in New York, Los Angeles and San Diego and at high schools, colleges, and universities from MIT to the UCSD. Its accompanying workshops have helped students set goals and cope with life. GAM3RS has also been developed to be a television series.
Walt is also the author of Going for the Green, and Day is Ending, and has written hundreds of articles for newspapers, magazines, and websites.
